SAFETY CHECKLIST

 

During your consultation, Dr Kovacic will determine whether you can go for Botox and/or dermal fillers. There might be some safety concerns, for example, you might be advised to not get Botox if you:

 

  • are allergic to any of the ingredients in Botox or dermal fillers. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • suffer from any muscle or nerve conditions, such as
  • have a skin infection in the planned injection site
  • have any urinary problems, like urinary tract infection or urinary incontinence
  • breathing complications, like asthma or emphysema
  • have problem swallowing
  • have bleeding problems
  • plan to get surgery in the near future
  • had surgery on your face
  • have weak forehead muscles or drooping eyelids
  • had any botolinum toxin product in the last four months
  • recently had an antibiotic injection
  • take muscle relaxants, allergy or cold medicine, sleep medicine, anti-platelets or anti-coagulants
